Paid to Promote for Junkies
Earning through ptp can either be from using manual traffic exchanges, or from buying/redeeming ads. Contest ads, point ads, cheap cash ads, be it PTCs or emails, are good for ptp promotion. So if you have points to redeem or upgraded member ads, you can use them to earn from ptp.
Manual Traffic Exchanges
Some ptps accept manual traffic exchanges aka TFX(Manual surfs). It is important to choose ones that give good valid hits, and decent traffic quality. For a list of recommended manual surfs go here.
Traffic Quality
It is important when buying ads to choose ones that are not saturated with *Tier 3 or Tier 4 countries which earn very few credits for tier-based ptps. Check first the traffic quality of a site before buying ads. Estimate if the ad you are buying is one where you will make profit. If you join sites with ptp, check the monthly traffic quality of the advertising sites. You can see the average cpm(which estimates if the tier quality is good or bad) of the traffic hits. Average credits per thousand of 450 and above are good places to buy ads. As much as possible ask for an adstats page from the site you buy ads to check the real number of valid hits, hits in the adstats page are not the same as the actual hits to the ptp page.
Go to a ptp approval list like on donkeymails,(go to paid to promote page, then click approved sites) click all letters, click all types, and arrange by valids(not valid %). Look at the top 50-100 sites, and look at the sites with more than 400 credit average. Those are good sites to advertise at. In reality when promoting donkey or any other ptp, even if the ptp rate is $0.75 cpm its impossible to get that because if the hits are from low class countries the cpm lowers. Buy only ads for decent average cpm.
